Leak Detection
We find hidden leaks before they spread, and we keep the cutting into your walls and ceilings to a minimum.
Hidden leaks do not always show up as dripping water. More often you see a stain on a ceiling, a damp spot on a wall, peeling paint, a musty smell, or a water bill that climbs with no explanation. By the time it is visible, water may have been moving through the building for a while. Our job is to find the source before anyone opens a wall. We work through the likely sources, such as supply lines, drain lines, fixtures and connections, and narrow down where the water is coming from. The goal is minimal demolition: cutting only where we have to, and not guessing with a saw. Once the leak is located, we explain what we found and what the repair involves. Because we are licensed plumbers, we can do the repair too, completed to code. If you suspect a leak, call us or send a request. If water is actively flowing, shut off the main valve and see emergency plumbing.

Common questions
How can I tell if I have a hidden leak?
Common signs are water stains, a musty smell, warped flooring, the sound of running water when everything is off, and an unexplained jump in your water bill. Any of these is worth having checked.
Will you have to cut into my walls?
We aim to keep demolition minimal. We work to pinpoint the leak first so that any opening is small and in the right place.
Can you repair the leak once you find it?
Yes. We are plumbers, so we can repair the pipe or fixture that is leaking. Any drywall or finish work afterward would be done separately.
