# Faucets, Toilets & Fixtures

Fixture problems tend to start small: a faucet that drips, a toilet that runs or clogs, a handle that is loose, a supply line that is slowly leaking under the sink. Left alone, a minor leak can damage a cabinet or subfloor and raise your water bill. We repair fixture drips and minor leaks, clear clogged toilets and drainage issues, and replace leaking fixtures and worn components such as valves and supply lines. We also take on larger fixture replacements when a repair no longer makes sense. We will tell you which one we think fits, and why. When you are replacing a fixture, you can choose it yourself or ask us what works for your plumbing. All work is completed to code, and we check connections and shutoffs before we leave. ## Common questions

Is it better to repair or replace a leaky faucet?

If the faucet is in good shape and only a washer, cartridge or valve is worn, a repair is usually enough. If the body is corroded or parts are hard to find, replacement is the better choice.

Why does my toilet keep running?

Most often a worn flapper or fill valve inside the tank is letting water leak into the bowl. These are small repairs, but a running toilet wastes water, so it is worth fixing.

Can you install a fixture I bought myself?
